Mos Def - Boogie Man Song

Boogieman was inspired by Paul Mooney, from his album called Race where he got on an elevator with a white woman and she clutched her purse so he got off the elevator with her, made him feel bad that he didnt take it. He chased the woman for 10 blocks, he had no intention of stealing the the purse but if im gonna be the boogieman then fuck it ill be the boogieman but im tired of being the boogieman. Its the idea of confronting fear, but also its the friendly, warm, mischievous character.
